Subscriber – Grower Agreement 2010

Subscribers will receive a box of produce each week or every other week of a twenty week season, running from May 24th – October 11th, 2010. The assortment of produce will vary throughout the season and contain a wide variety ranging from lettuce and tomatoes, peppers and broccoli, basil to strawberries. Due to the unpredictability of farming, we cannot guarantee any specific item. We do not customize individual boxes.

1. Subscribers may purchase a Weekly Share or a Bi-weekly Share averaging $27.00 worth of organic produce each week and the Weekly Half Share averages $14.00 worth of organic produce each week. A subscriber may elect to pay the full amount at registration, or make a deposit at registration with the full balance due May 1, 2010. A deposit of $200.00 is required for the weekly share, and a deposit of $100.00 is required for the bi-weekly and weekly half share boxes.

2. Subscribers are responsible for picking up their boxes at one of the designated pickup points. Subscribers are encouraged to find friends or family to pick up their share if they will be away.

3. Pick up points are planned for and more will be announced.

4. Subscribers may visit the farm, with the understanding that their visit will not interrupt the work in progress.

This agreement represents a season long contract; if for any reason a member must end their subscription, Cane Creek Valley Farm will transfer your share to an individual of your choice. If for any reason, a member is unable to pick up their weekly or bi-weekly share, arrangements should be made to have someone else pick up the share, or the share will be donated to the local food bank to feed the hungry.
