Cane Creek Beef
Our beef is lean, no use of hormones or antibiotics in production, all
vegetarian feed, roam freely on open pastures, all natural, humane and
ecological practices and is family farm raised.
Our beef comes from our male calves, a by product of the Cane Creek Dairy. They are grown to 12 to 14 months of age on our farm and then harvested at this
early age to ensure excellent tenderness and taste. Our steers are processed individually, so the beef that you order comes from one
steer alone. All beef is dry aged for 14 days too. ** We also offer whole cow
hamburger for large orders on a regular basis.
Holstein beef is leaner than most beef, which is important to consumers
interested in low-fat diets. Since they are leaner than traditional beef breeds, dairy breeds tend to marble
well because fat accumulates inside the muscle instead of the outside. The Holstein breed was designed to be a dual purpose farm animal for the
